67 9000 mile Camaro

-----How would you guys value a 67 Butternut yellow Camaro with 9000 absolutely original miles? It has PS, black vinyl top, front stripe, 327/2bbl, powerglide on the column, standard black bucket seat interior. Almost everything is original down to all five tires. Battery has been changed. Paint and chrome in excellent shape with just a few exceptions. It was always on one side of a garage that had a Caddy 4-door on the other side, so one side has a bunch of chips. Even the wheel well trim on the rear wheel is dented. A good friend has a shot at it. I have given him my thoughts but would like to give him some others as I am chronicly low on evaluations.......Bill S

Does the car look like a low mile original car? Factory inspection marks? documentation? Not been detailed with spray cans to look better? I would expect that car to look in condition comparative to charley's 70 z28 low mile condition. The paint chips and trim issues are minor if it is original low mileage. My high would be 20K.

I echo the same estimate, $15,000 - $20,000.

On the open market.... I would think that car would sell in the $25,000 - $35,000..... if marketed properly... as it's a super low mile well preserved V8 car with a great color combo..IMO

Since Charley just recently bought a 9000 mile 69 Camaro, perhaps he would be well qualified to offer an opinion.

I love survivors but not sure how desireable this camaro may be. Hard to say.

----Thanks to all! I havent seen the car but my friend is very qualified as far as knowing an original car. He says the car is virtually untouched everywhere. The thought has crossed my mind that even with 9000 miles the car is after all a "Michigan car". He will keep me in the loop and I will probably see it soon. Your figures actually matched mine on both the high and the low side. Id love to have the chance to fluff the car. I Know, I know, get pictures!!!.......Bill S

Beings a Michigan car.... it might have some "crust" which would have a negative impact on the value....

My 6 cylinder car also has crust on the suspension. I agree with the 25-35K range. They are not building any more of them.
