Looking for Orig Owner 1967 L78 Chevelle

OK, I'm hoping to find the original owner of my 1967 L78 Chevelle SS. I believe the car was originally purchased from Yenko and at some point the owner had the original L78 motor swapped out for a 427 at the Yenko dealership. The car is Nantucket blue, black interior w/ a bench seat and Muncie 4 speed and a 3.73 rear axle. A mechanic from Yenko ended up w/ the original L78 motor and after a few years sold it to Bruce "Big Block Bruce" Peoples. I do have the original motor and found the original car in Davidsville PA, and I'm now in the process of putting her back together after 5 yrs of patient restoration. If any of this sounds familiar to you please contact me so I can complete the history of this Chevelle.
Thanks folks!! Bob Stumpf (708) 349-1271

Thanks for the feedback folks, I'll try to post some pics soon.
Right now the car is going back in for a repaint.
The first paint job base coat went on too dry and it's just not up to show standards. First body shop doesn't think there's anything wrong with it so here we go with another $7000 dollars to a reputable shop to shoot over! Never enough time or money to do it right the first time but always enough of each to do over.
Stay tuned folks...
More to come.
P.S. Everything else is already restored and waiting to go back on the car - engine, trans, dashboard, seats, trim, heater box, blower box and it's all done with either NOS or OEM restored, date code correct, VERY EXPENSIVE parts. I'm trying to revive the entire economy all through this one car!!!!!

Hey Bob, its Orlando

Bob has extensively researched every square inch of this car. Not a corner was cut. Not a dime was spared. Bob went ALL OUT.

This is a car to learn from. Its going to be a real treat to see in finished.
