Yenko Chevelle Prices
Last spring Mecum sold a red Yenko Chevelle for $240K. Recently they sold a blue one for $164K. Any reason for such a price variation?

Re: Yenko Chevelle Prices
Perhaps, color, originality, placement in the auction, economy, matching #s, etc.

Re: Yenko Chevelle Prices
Maybe people holding their cash, the economy, stock market taking huge mood swings, etc.

Re: Yenko Chevelle Prices
My opinion is that the economy has finally effected the high end cars also. I think the scales have tipped, an incredible buyers market for those with wealth.

I couldn't figure that one out, either. I saw the blue Yenko Chevelle at St. Charles and it looked like a great car with a ton of documentation. I was really surprised at the selling price, but then again, that gold '71 Hemi 'Cuda sold even lower.

Re: Yenko Chevelle Prices
Just my personal opinion but my feeling is the big buyers schedule in Mecum Indy each year as it seems to be the largest selection of high end muscle. It might just be most of the buyers went to Indy and not St Charles.
