Super Chevy Magazine 1983
 

Back in 1982 I sold my first Z28 see attached link https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...159#Post395159

I advertised the car for sale in Super Chevy Magazine probably in April, May, June, July or Aug of 1983 timeframe. I actually sold it in Sept/ Oct of 1982. I would like to see if anyone has these magazine issues to identify the exact month I placed the ad. Ultimately I want to purchase a copy.
The car was advertised as an 1969 RS/Z28, orange and my phone # at the time was 215-356-2562. I would appreciate any help.. Thanks!

Scratch May. I have that one laying out and it is not in there. I have all of the other issues but unfortunately they are buried and won't be able to get to them for a little while.

Hi Rick, I appreciate you taking a look. I found March and April of 1982 and it's not in those issues either. So the hunt for June , July and Aug continues. Looking forward to seeing both you and Annie at the MCACN. Looks like a fantastic line up cars with an even stellar group of particpants and spectators!

Ok, I dug through the showroom and got all the way to the back with all my thousands of magazines in boxes. You don't want to know how fun that was........ [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/haha.gif[/img] I looked through every month of Super Chevy 1982 and your car is not in any of them. I am missing February however so that is the only one it could be in unless you have the wrong year.

Tell your wife she is on my list. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif[/img] Fortunately I left a path so I was able to pull 1983.

It is in the April 83 issue on page 62. Unfortunately I do not have a duplicate copy of that month. It has Chuck Hanson's red 67 RS/SS 396 Camaro, a blown blue 1974/77 Monte Carlo and a red 1970 SS396 Chevelle convertible on the cover. These are pretty easy to come by on ebay though there are none on there now.

Do you just need a copy of the ad? If so I can copy it for you but I just don't want to give up my copy.
