Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
It would be 60K plus to get this car to where it would demand the big bucks. Very cool but it has been for sale for years and looked at by the most interested parties it could expect. No takers at the price of admission...yet.

Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
I thought that this has been for sale for awhile. When it was for sale before, wasn't there a complete other "donor" car?

Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
$12 - $15K to frame off the car, fix all rust, prep body, paint and set back on frame???? Maybe if you're willing to work for minimum wage.

Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
You are correct a donor car was available at one point. The minum wage allowed would need to be based on the year this car was produced ??

No kidding! And that is if you have NO overhead. That seems to be a rare bird, but it will take more than 15k to get the body to show condition. |
Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
I would say that it will cost about 80 thousand dollars if you are doing all the work except for the body and frame and paint.
How do you know that this is a real car????? PJ |
Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
How far back do "Marti Reports" go?
|
Re: super rare R code Mercury on the bay
The car has an R code vin. Unless it had a vin tag swap, it is 100% a 427 car.
