Re: 1969 L78 Camaro conv 22k original miles
----Unless Im badly mistaken, John, thats an Ohio car,,,Correct??? Ill bet Grady and some of the northern Ohio guys have seen and lusted after this piece of history if it is the one I saw at Quaker City many years ago. Owner stated it would never be for sale back then, LOL! I just simply cant imagine that there are two with this mileage and option list. It was at the car show at the track during the "Field of Dreams" race weekend in 93 or maybe 94......Bill S

Found in or near Cuyahoga falls a few years back, one of my frieds had it then and passed it on to someone in MI ?? Later on to BJ for a then big sale of around low to mid 90's ? Not sure what the dealer was. Mike |

Thanks guys it is a piece of history. Bill , you must know every car out there this was the Ohio car. It wasnt a dealer who bought it from BJ still in the same collection never has been resold since then.
Everything about this car stills feels brand new when you sit in it you think your sitting in a new car, and there is nothing like driving a original low mileage car. Theese cars actually drove real nice. |
Re: 1969 L78 Camaro conv 22k original miles
I remember drooling over this car when it was at BJ, maybe 6 or so yrs ago. Neat, neat car with all of the right options.

The L78 rags are my favorite Camaros. This is for sure a good one. It's too bad we don't have a better idea of production numbers. A few years ago I was told that there were about 20 in the CRG database.

John
What dealer did it come from ? Lyle ? Mike |
Re: 1969 L78 Camaro conv 22k original miles
It didnt come from a dealer we bought it at BJ in 2003 can't believe its been 9 years. The guy who ran it thru BJ was from Michigan I do not remember his name I would have to check out the paper work since it was titled in his name not a dealer name.
