Max Wedge cars

First time on this site and I like it. Anybody have or have seen any Max Wedge cars around? Here is my original '63 Plymouth Sport Fury Super Stock 426 Max Wedge mostly original unrestored car. Being stored in a barn for about 37 years it's a little rough round the edges but overall in great shape. It's a rare Red on Red factory manual floor shift 3 speed stick car that's never been cut up or modified. Fully documented in the Darell Davis book, has ALL of the rare original Max Wedge parts intact and runs and drives like an beast! It's now been mechanically redone and the body is pretty much all original with a lot of "patina".

Wow-what a fantastic car! We love "rough around the edges" and "patina" around here. Welcome to the site and thanks for posting the photos.

I believe the patina just adds to the cool factor!

Re: Max Wedge cars
Very cool car. A buddy back in my hometown has a complete 63 Dodge 426A Maxie engine. We've been hunting the body for several years with no luck yet.

Yes, I found it on eBay. Almost missed out on it to another buyer too. It's in my shop now! |
