Modified 70 Z28
5 Attachment(s)
Thought you guys might like to see pics of a 70Z road racer I picked up last year, finally pushed it out of storage for a few pics. Car was in California and Nevada until last year. The old goodyear race tires wouldn't hold air so it is on rear rollers now so I can move it.

Re: Modified 70 Z28
I would bet that was a street car made to look like a race car. Little things like a L-88 scoop on a steel hood. Those IMSA style flared street cars were very popular in CA and out west back in the late 70's and early 80's. I would paint the car and clean it up and leave it as is.

I like it. Anything with wheels and an engine is nice.

Re: Modified 70 Z28
To be honest I don't know how to proceed with this one. I don't really have much history on it. The previous owner is supposed to get me pics of it from the 70's/80's but he hasn't come through yet. I also believe it was more of a street car and not a full racer. It still has alot of its important original components such as the block, trans, rear-end, build sheet on tank.
