Re: Vintage Parts For Sale
Dave...on those intakes.
I don't understand...what and where are the "pin holes"..?? Thanks..wilma |
Re: Vintage Parts For Sale
I get them out of the junk yard for a few dollars so $20 is steep but of course I take the risk of them working.

Re: Vintage Parts For Sale
Tom,
If you look at the left side of the intake near that vac port, you will see little specs. I called these pin holes but that might not be the best term to describe them. It will not influence the operation of the intake at all. It's simply a costmetic thing. The intakes are both painted so maybe if they were re-skinned or repainted they would go away. The intake are in excellent clean operational condition. Thanks, -Dave |

Make an offer, I want this stuff gone! |
Re: Vintage Parts For Sale
Tom, any time you buy a used intake its best practice to have it either professionally cleaned or in this case reskinned. Send the intake to either MacNeish or Dotterer. Through the reskin process ($125 or so) any cracks or repairs will be dealt with accordingly.
