Does anyone know this '67 on ebay?
I recall seeing this car on-line somewhere in the last year or so and think it is pretty neat. Does anyone know it or the dealer selling it?

Ooops, sorry about that! I must have still had that link in my browser from reading that thread. Here is the correct link to the '67 Camaro SS396

Very nice car.

Style points to the resto shop for not butchering it with spoilers, cowl hood, Z/28 stripes.
Either it originally had hub caps or the wheels should be painted black. Rare car, nicely done. |

Amen! I'll bet it was pretty hard for the shop not to put at least a trunk spoiler on it. I wonder how many people think it "can't be a real SS because it doesn't have spoilers." Or Rally wheels. The bench seat/column shift is too cool. Imagine who ordered it that way or who would have bought it off the lot new. The kids and race-minded types would have been turned-off by that setup so it may have been an older guy (or lady) who just wanted a "sporty" driver. |

But yeah, it would look that much better to our educated eyes to see black wheels! They also restrained themselves in not putting redlines on it. Several 'bold' decisions (omitting the typical eye candy) were made during this restoration but they all make the car that much more interesting. |
Re: Does anyone know this '67 on ebay?
Vintage pics show it with SS wheel covers with white rims, so I'm thinking it had dog dishes originally? Also, they put an SS horn button on it when it had the original "Camaro" button in the vintage pics. I love the car, but wish they had spent just a little more time on the undercarriage details. What a great cruise night car...if anyone is local, I'd pay for your time and expenses to go and take a look at it for me
