Finding the space shuttle in Inglewood
1 Attachment(s)
After seeing it fly over the Huntington beach pier on the back of a 747 a couple of weeks ago. My kids made me take them out to Inglewood at 2:00am on Saturday morning to go see the space shuttle in person. She was quite a site to see in the middle of Manchester blvd. a couple of blocks from the Forum.

Awesome! I saw it fly over Santa Cruz while out fishing. Quite the sight to see. I did not know it was scheduled so it was quite a shock. Good call on going to see it in person.

Lived in Inglewood for a time, what were the streets they used ? Mike |
Re: Finding the space shuttle in Inglewood
I wonder if they had the doors locked and just rolled through every stop sign without stopping as they drove through the 'Wood that late at night?.

Re: Finding the space shuttle in Inglewood
I read somewhere on the net, they had to cut down 400 trees that lined the streets.
