I found this on eBay this morning. The seller is wwiggles06 from Connecticut. Is his username vodoo on this site? Is this old news?

No its a real BE rear. Its was put in my nova by a past owner. He got the rear and a 427 out of a 69 Camaro back in the 80's. But there is no way that rear is out of ZL1 #66.

That camaro with the 427 back in the 80&quot;s was that car out of the ansonia ct. area.I think I remember that car.

Here we go again. These parts haven't been on EBay since 2004 or 2005. If I remember correctly, the last EBay add produced some posts here.

So does the vin pad stamping with RCE 5151 mean that it was a crate engine? over the counter parts? not the original motor from #66 car.

can anyone direct me to a photo site where I can see the serial number pad on the ZL1 motor? the other thing is how is this motor documented from the car #66? the guy has re-listed it for less.
