Mint in gm boxes with gm part stickers i used to get $1500 and $800 to $1000 for nice ones with out boxes .I would sell them quick as i got them..This was 10 +years ago ..
Today if i had a pair to sell $1400 to $2500 .But i hate storing sheet metal and like quick sales...

I agree, that's tall money today for just one fender.I first thought it was the pair.
I recently bought a pair of NOS for less then the price he's asking for one.
Real NOS from that era and in the original GM box,$600-$800 I see as the avg. swapmeet price one brings here today.
Your location may vary..

What kind of difference do Nos Wagon/Camino fenders reach than the same for Coupes/Sedans?
To help thwart anyone here from buying/selling the wrong ones, does someone have the different part #'s they can post including unique extensions etc too?

Vintage Assembly line 1970 Chevelle Hardtop/Cvt. fenders were Drivers side #3970609,and Passengers side #3970610.

1970 Station Wagon/El used Drivers side #3970611,and passengers side #3970612.

WOW!!! Boy, that sounds like a WHOLE lot of money. Fortunately, I haven't had the need for any sheetmetal real recently. I'm in the process of finishing a frame-off on a '72 442 and I found fenders for A LOT less than that. Usually, Oldsmobile stuff is pricier than Chevy stuff, but not in this case. Maybe because the Olds fenders fit '71 and '72, but even the '70-only aren't $3500 a piece. I guess this fellow is banking on somebody that found "another" LS6 4-speed Convertible. Although haven't all 19 (and then some surfaced)?

I often pay somewhere in the $1800-2500 range for a pair and find that quite consistant.

El Camino quarters bring half of what coupes bring. We sat on an NOS set for a LONG time before finally selling them to a member. I don't remember exactly what he gave but it was not much in complarison to the coupes.

There are way more than 19-20 LS6 converts. I believe I have somewhere in the range of 36 or more confirmed converts but it has been a long time since I looked and some people refuse to share their information so we cannot get a true accurate count. Many of us think the total production was likely somewhere in the 200+ range but take that with a grain of salt!

So what are the differences in the fenders, coupe vs wagon?
