A friends grandpa has a 69 very nice body and interior always garaged the car does not have orig motor it has been replaced with bbc. I'm not sure about the tranny but overall the car is in great shape. He is asking 28000 for the car seems high to me but I really don't know. The car does have a roll bar in it I would take out. The car was built in califorina

The problem with a van nuys built Camaro, the trim tag doesn't tell you anything. Seems like he is selling it as a z-28 with a big block in it. All 69 z-28's came with power disc brakes, although he could have removed the booster. The master is incorrect as well. You are right it is priced too high. We would need more info to give you a value. I.e. what big block is in it, etc. for that kind of money, you could do much better. It is originally Cortez silver with a black deluxe interior.

Nice 69. You'll prob need to list a few more details. EG What engine/trans,interior options, console guages etc, and the condition of the floorpans and body & what rear axle and front brakes it has etc. The more details the better for a price check.
Im an aussie, but I guess a running/driving [?] 69 Camaro with a nice running BB would run in the high 'teens to mid 20's?
More depending on what repairs it may require & if any desirable options and add-ons it may have.
69s are great looking Camaros!

cheers Dave

Good, COMPLETE, numbers matching Z resto projects are mid 20's depending on the colors and options...

Very doubtful that car is a real Z. I say his price is twice what it's worth.

Can anyone tell what heater core it has. Too distorted to be sure when I blow it up.

To me it looks like a small block heater, look at the hoses going in behind the right cylinder head.

They might have removed the booster due to clearance problem with the head cover. If they don't change the engine stands to bigblock ones the engine sits to far to the left.

Look for where the front brakeline hoses are attached to the frame. If the bracket is mounted on the outside of the frame it is a drumbrake car. If the hose bracket is on top of frame it is discbrakes.
