1969 Camaro Lug Wrench "O" Marking
Don't know much on this but, would an "O" embossed near the head of a lug wrench be the correct one that came in the trunk from the factory on a '69 Camaro? Could it be used on other years as well? Thanks for the input!

Re: 1969 Camaro Lug Wrench "O" Marking
The O marked lug wrenches came in many cars, from 57 Corvette to 70 Nova. NCRS says the O mark was to identify the maker of the part, not to identify the part, but you can never be sure if that's fact or not.

The "O" marking is for the Herbert Orr Company of Paulding, OH. They are still in business today and still making jack handles and hood prop rods. I used to ride my bike by the plant every day while delivering papers. A company in Edgerton, OH also made jack handles and they were stamped with an "E".
