1971 or 72 Trans Am

Looking for a blue TA. Prefer a nice unrestored car with orig drivetrain, and AC. Outright purchase or possibly trade my 1969 rs/ss survivor with 15k miles link: https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthrea...sule#Post432052

Can't catch something you always have had. Just looking for a change since I've never owned a second gen TA. To me the 71 & 72 TA's are really great cars. I like black formulas too.

They are fantastic cars. To me they are the best combination of the round ports and the least expensive. Best muscle car value out there in my mind. What you're looking for specifically is pretty difficult to find. Good luck.

Steve, I just clicked on the link you have above and saw your SS. Nice survivor!!! Does it have the factory painted stripe on the fender and decal on the doors?

Yes Sal, it certainly does. Back in 99 I wanted to purchase this car see link:

I couldn't personally inspect the car for a few days so I had a friend of mine inspect it for me. I asked him the same question you're asking. After he inspected the car he believed the door stripe was painted. I had to make a quick decision because there were other buyers for the car so I had Mike leave a deposit. I drove down that weekend and I was very pleased when I confirmed they were tape. BTW the blue one is my favorite, and it always puts a smile on my face when I'm going through the gears.
