Re: GM Nationals!
The volume at the swap meet was similar to other years, but surprisingly, the quality was higher. There were plenty of good finds all weekend. This event is building steam. I 've been consistanly ever since the Solid Lifter Showroom started. Heck, I think my Dad got the 4 seater golf cart just so he could continue to enjoy this show.

Re: GM Nationals!
Very week swap meet and car show,( my Opinion) a lot of open spaces, the Camaros being in Fredrick put a hurting on Carlisle, and I don't think the Camaros are coming back, the solid lifter show room was nice though as always. I wish the moved the solid lifter show to the fall or spring event.

Re: GM Nationals!
I thought the swap meet was not all that weak. Though there were vendor spots not filled, quality was up IMO. I found lots of great parts, as did lots of my other buddies. As for the show itself, Saturday had a very good turnout of cars. A nice turn out of F body cars, but the 1st gen cars are not coming out as much. Friday was slow, no doubt. But the turnout for the SLS #5 was constant and strong Friday and Saturday. A HUGE thank you to all participants...BKH

Re: GM Nationals!
While not being able to get the Camaro there for the SLS, the vendor items where excellent opportunities. I did better this weekend on GM parts than the overcrowded, and "flea-market" offering of items like socks, sunglasses, jewelry, more socks and cheap tools at the Spring Carlisle 7 weeks ago.
The pace was great, the weather was perfect and the on-field display of GM autos was good. Kudos to Tyler and Brian for making it another success. Already looking forward to 2014. |
