I heard that there wasnt very many novas made in black cherry paint code 78 is that true?

I would say that black cherry was rare on the nova, as it was on the Camaro and chevelle. We had a 70 black cherry nova with the L-78, M-21 and 3.55 gears in our area when it was new.
