... Nice looking 442 Convertible |
Re: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
Stefano, I really like this car. My mom picked her new orange 442 up on April 28th, 1972 from Nortell Olds. I remember because I was 16 years old. This one was running on the same streets as our orange one.
Very nice car. Montgomery Olds is the dealer we'd visit when I was in High School to look at the new cars. We'd visit the dealer during lunchtime. |
Re: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
Do you think your Mom and Vicki may have lined them up at a stop light off of Golf road, with a trunk full of groceries at some point back in the day ; ) Thanks for sharing your fond memories. |
Re: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
She better not have been abusing that car, that was my job.

Re: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
You know I'd chime in on this one, after all, I AM an Olds man. I just bought an un-restored '72 Cutlass Supreme Convertible myself. Mine isn't a 442 (and never will be!), but just a real nice Yellow/Black/Black 78k mile car. The Red and White really "pop" and the chrome SSl wheels are a great choice. All the best of luck on the sale and as usual---impressive original paperwork!

Re: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
Just checked, this lady lived 1.5 miles from the house I grew up in. The orange and red 442's had to pass each other many times.

Now Stefano, "Lots of Vintage original grease."
I don't know, but looks like day 2 grease to me. What a great car for a Sunday drive. |
