Re: Motion convertible
I saw a story in the November 2006 Corvette Fever magazine about a 1968 Motion convertible. It is black with the white motion stripes, L-88 hood, flares, side pipes, phase III ignition, torker intake, Motion finned valve covers, and motion replacement L-88 engine. You might be able to access it on Google if you want to read the story. If I could scan it in and send you a link I certainly wood, but I am not that good at computers! The article is titled THE LEVIATHAN, if you want to do a google search.

Re: Motion convertible
One of my favorite Motion cars, but IMO, Motion made some of the best looking modified cars of the era.

Re: Motion convertible
Living just 12 miles from Yenko Chevrolet my whole life, I saw a lot of Yenko cars back in the 60's and 70's on the streets and daily drivers ,but I think Motion had better looking and better concept on especially Corvettes than Yenko did. I wish I had lived as close to Motion Performance as I did to Yenko!

Re: Motion convertible
Paul, where did you live? I am from the South Hills, Baldwin Whitehall area. My dad was an insurance adjuster for many years and frequented Yenko Chev bitd.

Re: Motion convertible
I am in Monroeville. At times way in the past Don Yenko would visit my shop when I still had my partner who he was close friends with.

it all went by so fast, we had no idea what it would mean 40 years later. |
