1969 Pace Car 396
 

I was talking to a friend today and he is thinking about selling a 69 Pace car he bought a few years back but will not get to restoring. First of all the car is very rough and needs everything. Secondly it is a 396, 325 horse car. He has the original engine and the original 12 bolt 3.08 rear is in the car. It is a turbo 400 car but he told me the trans is not original. I do not think he has the pop. He would sell it for what he has in it which is close to 20k. He is a realistic guy and is underselling the rarity of the car because of the work needed. I would like to buy it, but I to have too many irons in the fire. I found it for him when he was looking for a Pace Car and 396 cars are rare. I have nothing in it but helping a friend get a fair price, no brokering or commission.
