1970 CD2 Washer Fluid Monitor Float, Any Repro?

1 Attachment(s)
Does any reproduction company make the 1970 Chevelle CD2 Fiber Optic Washer Fluid Monitor Float with rod.
Below is a photo of my broken one beside a complete unit.
Or is there a person or company that can restore this.
Let me know.

I use to restore a lot of these when I still had my parts company. You can source the float from a craft company. Find a dense material similar and cut the float. Find something to use like a hole saw. You can cut a square shape and sand it also. The shaft can be made from a plastic rod. Get creative. Use a tree from a model car kit, a swizzle stick... Ect. You'll need to plastic weld a flat piece to the top and add the color with translucent paint. It's not too dificult, you have the hard part done, you have someting to copy.

Thanks for your opinion,
I did manage to fix it and it actually works now.
I glued the 2 pieces back together and found a small piece of plastic that I had from a Pertronix kit (Used for spacing the magnet) Lucky I kept this spacer all these years. I shaped it and cut it like the original and the red paint is my wife's Nail polish and green paint I had in the garage. The glue I used is called "The LAST GLUE" I have repaired a lot of plastics with this stuff including dash parts, it works great.

Improvise, adapt and overcome! Now make sure your washer fluid does not freeze.

Wiper fluid does not freeze in TOYS stored inside a garage.

More clean up, smoothed out the rod with the Dremmel tool.
Finished

What does the light look like that goes through the wife's nail polish?

There was a guy that was repopping the floats on Team Chevelle, but I don't know his contact info.
I bought a few of them from him when they were advertised as I have 3 cars that have this option.

I have one that fits a 77 Toronado. It sure looks close. Is the part# the same?

67 442, that one would not be correct for 1970 as the top unit is black, 1970 was the same color as the bottle white/tan. Also the float is very different.
