Bid to $450K. No sale. Were any of those bids real?

Wow... 1. Why so much for a special order color? 2. Why not take it? |
Re: Carolina Blue 1969 Camaro Z/28 @ Mecum Auctions
Have a hard time believing 450 won't buy that car.

Re: Carolina Blue 1969 Camaro Z/28 @ Mecum Auctions
I don't get it either. Every time I run into a car for sale that's similar to that color people hate it and they are hard sells. Something has to be fishy here. 450 buys you a killer yenko.

450k and did not sell it?? hard to believe

Re: Carolina Blue 1969 Camaro Z/28 @ Mecum Auctions
Remember that in the consignment contract, the auction house has the right to bid the car up on their own, to just under the reserve, hoping a real buyer will step in and bid to get it over the reserve. Obviously the reserve was $460k.
