Trying to identify a shifter handle...

Can anyone id this Hurst shifter handle? It is obviously in the wrong car. Will get some measurements later. Thanks.

Looks like 1968-1972 Chevelle with console aftermarket Hurst shifter and handle. May be the same as Nova.

Re: Trying to identify a shifter handle...

If you unbolt it there should be a 4 digit # down by the 2 bolt holes. You may be able to read them without removal and post the numbers and I can l;ook in my Hurst catalog and possibly tell you what the handle application was made for. I can see by your tunnel that it looks like someone had a Hurst Super boot on it at one time. Hope this helps.

Re: Trying to identify a shifter handle...

Thanks guys for the info! Will be getting pics and Hurst numbers posted shortly. Sorry for the delay. That same shifter handle has since been re-chromed and the actual shifter cleaned up nicely and will be posted in the for sale section later once I purchase a correct adjusting nut for the shifter ball.
