E-Bay Searches

When I do an e-bay search - im getting tons of other stuff that has nothing to do with what im looking for.

For example, type "Ferrari 360" and you get trucks and other BS beside a few Ferrari items.

IS this an ebay thing with the search engine or am I doing something wrong??

Re: E-Bay Searches

Try putting (-fits) at the end of your search terms....it will cut out alot of garbage.

Re: E-Bay Searches

When doing Ebay searches you can get rid of quite a bit of junk by using the minus - in front of words. For example Search for Camaro like this: Camaro -1972 -1973 -1974 -z28 -ss -396 -rs. You can minus 40 or 50 words like that. Another helpful hint is searching for several items at the same time. Put parentheses around a group of words like this: Camaro (1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, z28, 396, 427). Like with the minus thing, you can add 40 or 50 items in side the parentheses. You have to have at least one word outside of the parentheses. Searching like this will eliminate a lot of junk you have no desire to look through.

Re: E-Bay Searches

Or try searching eBay w/ Google, put "Ferrari 360" etc in quotes also eBay in the Google search box and sift results from there.
