Re: Happy Birthday JasonL78
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a good day; I started off by spending a little time on a member’s car, Leaches or (Barry Volkerts) 1965 L79. The driveline is now ready to be installed in the car. We are just waiting for the firewall insulation so I can get the heater box back into the car, then the inner fender and control arms. Once these are in I can set the motor in the car. This car has been sitting for more than 25 years with no motor. It’s about time for this awesome car to have a heart beat again. I finished the night off with a family dinner and birthday cake.
The engine bay all cleaned and painted. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...psce96866f.jpg The new heartbeat. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps1210dbbe.jpg I guess we can call this my birthday present to myself. I bought this 55 Chevrolet 210 earlier this week. It’s funny how your next project just finds you. I wasn’t really looking but I couldn’t pass up the deal. An old drag car with the inner fender wells cut out for headers. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps9d5c47d4.jpg |

Thanks for posting some pictures of the car you are working on for me that has been sitting since 1986 and was owned by same guy who was relative of guy who bought it new from original guy who purchased it new in 1965 and died in a hunting accident and he bought it in 1972 until Kim bought it from him and then sold it to me. Keep up the great work that you are doing on the car Jason.
