Old Hurst shifter boxes
I have a large selection of 1960's-70's Hurst shifter boxes, some are like new, and some show some age, any idea what their worth???
Thanks... Crash [email protected] |
Re: Old Hurst shifter boxes
Put one on eBay with an opening bid of .99 cents...if you are afraid it will sell cheap, put a $100 reserve on it...at the end of 7 days...you will have a very good clue of what they are worth....at least the first one...[flood the market with 100 of 'em and you will be lucky to get anything for one...]

Re: Old Hurst shifter boxes
I would agree with the opening bid of .99 and a 10 day auction
start it Thursday eve and then you get TWO WEEKENDS of exposure I disagree with putting a reserve on it, you will never find out what the market is as half the bidders won't bother bidding on a "reserve" auction |
Re: Old Hurst shifter boxes
I am sure they are worth a few bucks. I usually just give them away to friends of mine for display purposes.

Re: Old Hurst shifter boxes
A guy at a local antique store had an empty Hurst roll control box and was asking around sixty dollars for it. I believe it sold. Box was old from the sixties..
