I'm going to send you a private message for Shallcross Chevrolet. Your 67 z/28 was the only one that was sold from that dealer. Tom Shallcross was the salesman that sold it to an executive from Sunoco. As tom remembers, it had headers in the trunk....Joe

Tom didn't have anything? Did he say what the dealership would've had in the day?...Joe

His son says that Tom told him there wasn't anything used

I'll try to give Tom a call a little later. It will give me an excuse to call him....Joe

I just had a long conversation with Tom Shallcross. He indicated a plaque about 1" x 3 or 3.5" long was used in the 60's. It was some sort of metal, not plastic. It had sticky on it. It had a black background with silver raised letters. When Chevrolet took them over they were ordered to destroy anything with the Shallcross name...so they did. Paperwork also was only kept for 7 years....period, according to the CPA.
This might help you in your search. Shallcross Chevrolet was part of the farming community. Tom said of 350 or so vehicles on the lot, most were 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton pick-ups. Of cars, which they sold few of, were mostly Impalas. Tom's dad would get mad at Tom if he ordered in a Camaro because they didn't sell very well.
Maybe posting an ad on Craigslist Delaware, somebody might see your request.
I hope I've helped you.

I know Tom because we both have 1933 Chevrolet Standard 3 window coupes...quite rare

Joe

Yes, that's what I have for my car. I believe that it came from Tom.
