NOS LS6 Takeoff Parts: Pistons,Cam,Lifters&Intake
 

These parts are out off a 454 LS6 crate engine. The owner bought the engine and removed these parts to install a blower and the proper parts to accompany it. The cam, lifters, and pistons have been installed in an engine by GM but never run. The intake was used for 20 minutes to break in the blower cam before the blower was installed on the engine.

Camshaft:

Original GM L78/LS6 solid lifter cam. Part number 3863143. "3144" stamped in the end of the cam as shown. It is in a GM tube but it is obviously not original to the cam since the cam is out of the crate engine. $450

Lifters:

Original GM solid lifters. I believe these fit high performance Small and Big Block Chevy engines. No boxes since they came out of the crate engine. Awesome original lifters. $400

Pistons:

TRW Forged pistons for STD 4.250 bore. GM Part number 3963550. Complete with pins and rings installed. $450

Intake:

GM high rise aluminum intake for rectangular port heads and Holley carb. GM part number 3933163. Used for 20 minutes to break in blower cam. As new. $300

Jason, what do the magic marker numbers and markings mean on the pistons

I think it indicated the size of the pistons so they could be matched the the appropriate size cylinder. The markings are factory.
