Original Weatherhead Petcock Valve
I hope this isn't a dumb question but...I have this original petcock valve and it appears to have small square hole in the sleeve (pic 1). All the threads are excellent and functional except for some pitting on the steel areas (see pics). The "W" is still visible and there appears to be a small stamping on the brass area where you would apply a wrench to. Now for the question...What is something like this worth in the condition listed? Thanks guys.

Re: Original Weatherhead Petcock Valve
That one is a little rough so about $20 max.
I had about a dozen of those a few years ago and I averaged about $40 to $80 each depending on better conditioned ones than the one you show there. Just my experience and opinion on these. This is a photo of the last one I had in stock a few years ago that sold for $80. I also had a couple of "Eaton" ones in stock but they are a lot harder to find.
As you can see it was in like new shape even though it was a used unit. Not sure if they pull the same money now as it has been awhile since I sold or got another one. Re: Original Weatherhead Petcock Valve
I have NOS Eaton and Weatherhead versions in our classifieds here.
