Sherri's new "ride"

2 Attachment(s)
I never thought I would buy a vehicle with 24 inch wheels.
Surprised Sherri with this for our anniversary.
Each of the kiddos and grandkids brought potted plants to fill it up.

Will go under the shade tree in the yard as a planter.

Nice wheels Lynn. Great Patina! Did you check if that is a "BE" code on the rear end?

Tried to buy one of these at a farm auction last week to be used as yard art. It was a little bigger than yours but otherwise similar. I passed when it starting getting too expensive for yard art and sold for $2800!

Lynn -- if you park it in front on the lawn, lock it down some how or ring it with M18s ... folks down here is south Texas have had them "disappear" from right in front of their houses. Just sayin' ... TAZ

Rick. Got a laugh out of that. Seems you and I have some common interests, not only old farm trucks to convert to modern car haulers, but also OLD trucks of a sort.

I paid less than half that for this one. No BE rear, but mostly original. It was designed as a dump bed. The flooring has been replaced, but who cares? It is just getting potted plants. I believe the seat pre-dates the wagon, and that it was added some time later, probably from a broken buckboard. This type of hauler would not have had a seat originally.

One of our favorite restaurants here in Guthrie has an old broken down wagon as yard art. Sherri remarked several times how she wished she had one to use as a planter. It was a great surprise, and having the kids and grandkids bring plants moved her to tears. Hopefully we get out sod and concrete work done in the next two weeks and can get the wagon placed. We are really having too much fun with the new place.

I saw a new Camaro a couple weeks ago with wheels that looked almost exactly like those.

What about the "Horse Power". ?
They aren't as much maintenance as a ZL1 ....

Cool Piece.

Well.... since I moved it out of the garage and into the back alley drive all by myself, I guess that makes it one (1) "jack-ass" power. Not quite as powerful as one (1) horsepower.

Great Anniversary gift Lynn! Show us a picture after it is all set where it will stay.

In all fairness, the one I was bidding on was much larger and more the size of a covered wagon but still........$2800? Too rich for me.
