Re: 335 mile '69 Chevelle SS396
Stranger things have happened. Were there any '69 SS 396 Chevelles at the Lambrecht sale? I know there are some race cars around with ultra-low miles (I own a 977 mile '69 Camaro SS 396), but this could very well be what the seller claims. Probably worth researching........

There were no performance oriented vehicles at the Labrecht sale, other than the Indy Pace vette |

Re: 335 mile '69 Chevelle SS396
There was a 27K mile Lemans Blue Parchment VT (with the roof caved in) trade in vehicle that sat since the 70's.
It sold for good money.....by memory I would say 25K USD Ryan |

Wrecked when new! Perhaps a young kid with his graduation present that he stuffed into a ditch!

I know of a '73 Charger that was destroyed when it was new. It came at the hands, er mouth, of a pretty young girl that the guy was dating at the time. Charger's in 73 didn't come with ejection seats but ejection caused the wreck. This about as plain as I can tell it..... |

Re: 335 mile '69 Chevelle SS396
Locally there was a 62 409 ragtop that the original owner allowed his brother to drive. He tried racing a train. He lost and got the back half of the car "removed". Supposedly the car still exists in that condition in the family barn somewhere around here.
