"Head Games" 1968 Camaro Vintage Racecar Found
 

Found this pretty cool track car. 1968 Camaro "Head Games". Ran Super Pro in the 1980's according to the owner. Ran a sbc and a glide with a 12 bolt. I'm working on some vintage pics.

Very neat find....
Any history prior to an 80's drag car ?
Some pieces & set up appear as if they date
to the mid latter 70's .

When the Previous Pro Trends trickled down to Grass Roots Weekend Warriors.

A Base Car , SS or ? are the bones ?

I have no prior history. This car started as a bare bone 6 cyl 3 speed stick car (pedals still hanging). 12 bolt in the car has 5.57 gears and was originally a 1968 BU 3.73 posi housing. Originally British Green with a black standard gut. The floor tunnel was cut out of the car and zeus fastened for easy access to the transmission. Has front drum brakes and was setup for a front motor plate, which was included. I figured the car had some previous history because of the hood, and some of the suspension setup is earlier parts mixed with 80's period pieces.
