Re: 1970 Chevelle 400 LS3
I have an LS3 car also ,its a Canadian Documented Cranberry Red convertible car, Owner history , 80,000 mile car , white convertible top , white bucket interior, no console ,automatic, all original metal, drivetrain, born with, numbers matching,...just as it left the factory,....
But like many Malibu 400's was switched to look like an SS back in the early 1980's when a previous owner installed an SS dash and the Cowl induction hood. I've been contemplating putting it back to stock looking , but it's such a great car to drive, I've left it this way for 10 years now... I have a sweep dash and the hood,.....but MAN,....it looks pretty good |

I know this car from many years ago in our area. Does the Baltimore buildsheet still have the perforated holes down one side? |
Re: 1970 Chevelle 400 LS3
As cool and rare as that car really is my guess is that it would struggle to bring any more money than a similarly equipped SS396 convertible of the same year.

Re: 1970 Chevelle 400 LS3
Tough one to call, but I feel a Chevelle collector would pay up to either ad to, or complete a well-rounded Chevelle collection. Can't be many of those around, much less a nice convertible stick in those colors. A "C-Note" doesn't buy what it used to, and depending on just how nice that car turns out, might end up being a fair purchase in that price range.
