Thanks,

Power Steering Pump ID?

Looks like a 60's/early 70's GM pump but fitting placement/brackets unique to the application.
Keep in mind others besides GM used these pumps too, AMC etc.

Damn you guys are good... thank you

Is the 350/400/455 Pontiac PS pump the same? Full size, A body, F Body... no difference?

same..the only thing that could be diff is the pulley size..if it has gears it gets larger to slow it down

I'm not sure what the brackets are but the pump and tube itself looks very similar to an early Chevy big clock circa 1965 or 1966. You can tell the relative age of the pump by the pulley shaft size. Early (I believe pre 1967) have a smaller shaft. If that is important I can check my inventory. I have a few of them including an early big block pump that has a similar tube. I can post a picture if important.

The last time I checked you could still buy rebuild kits for these pumps that include the pulley shaft bushing. Unfortunately the kits do not go back far enough to have the bushing for the early pumps, just the later larger shaft ones. The internals in the kits are the same.

The major difference in the pumps is the pressure regulator behind the threaded inlet fitting. This determines the pressure for the application. My experience with the pulleys is that they seem to be pretty much the same size for Chevys.
