1969 Chevelle project L-78 M21 3.73 Glacier blue

1969 Chevelle SS 396 Glacier Blue with dark blue vinyl top and dark blue buckets & console. The car is a L-78 with M21 4 speed and 3:73 posi rear. Comes with non-original correct dated fresh L-78 long block and correct CI coded rear blasted and epoxied ready to assemble. The car has a partial build sheet removed from the bucket seat that lists engine, trans and rear option codes as well as colors and body number. It will need total restoration including quarters, outer wheel houses and trunk floor, the floor is in decent shape but needs a few repairs. The roof is not rusty or pitted and the window channels, rear deck, filler panel, inner and outer rockers, cowl, cowl sides, firewall and dash are in great shape. Also included is a complete Original Parts Group interior kit. This is a beautiful and rare combination when done. Bought another Chevelle this week and could really use the space, I will pull the car out and get better photos this weekend. $13000.obo pm or email please, Mike https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...0873-image.jpg

Where in MI did it come from? Any idea what the selling dealer was? Good luck with the sale!

Triple Blue... that will be a very unique color combo.. .what color would the side stripe be?

I don't know that it's the standard stripe color for this combo but the build sheet lists D as the stripe color, I believe that is dark blue. I guess that would make it quadruple blue

IMO, the 'D' on the build sheet is just build sheet shorthand for 'D96', the RPO code for the sport striping. I believe the only cars that got the blue side stripe from the factory were white cars with blue interior. Glacier blue should have got a black side stripe.
