Those are 'cooling holes'....allows for unrestricted air flow at high speeds...prevents over heating [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif[/img]

The holes are to compensate for all the EXTRA weight on those rear quarter panels [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/thumbsdown.gif[/img]
