1969 Chevelle
For sale is a 1969 Chevelle. L-78?? Born in the Framingham plant in the third week of June. Lemans Blue with black bucket seats. Current drivetrain is a correct 69 L-78 motor M-21 trans and 3:73 12 posi bolt rear. Interior has been re done and is quite nice..original tach and gauges ( 6K red line ) have been restored as has the dash bezel seats, carpet headliner door panels etc. The car was painted back in the 90’s when it was refreshed but never taken off the frame. Previous owner had the car since the mid to late 80’s and I have know him almost that long. Original rear is a CI code 373 posi ( L-34 and L-78 only)..its not in the car currently but is included in the sale, Tube to center section weld broke due to ladder bars..can be repaired but he chose to buy a housing from me and change the guts out..rear is a 70 CCW housing..fresh with the 3 73 internals. Also single 3’8 fuel line..never been touched. Front fenders were replaced with NOS when it was painted..will need another GM pass fender to make it right..have a repop on for now to hold parts in place ☺.(see pics) Floors are solid..small pinhole under the rear seat but that’s about it. Good solid car..fix and drive or re paint the whole thing..paint now is about a 7.5..some chips and dings. Motor is real strong, prev owner let it get away from him and the result is the pass fender meeting a pole.
I truly believe that this car was born a real L-78 car..no paper found to date. Any questions 732 208 9514 [email protected] 25K offers Albert SOLD: |
