Re: 1969 camaro
Looks like it has an HS eng code on the pop which is 255 hp. Wrong master cyl for disc brakes. Has single exhaust. I think there's more to this "story" than what's being told..Joe

Re: 1969 camaro
Trim tag's definitely been off and why would it be repainted and the trim tag reattached if it's a low mile car.
If it looks like a fish chances are... |
Re: 1969 camaro
I agree that there are secrets in the closet with this car.

Re: 1969 camaro
It's a shame that with the docs (assuming they're real and accurate) that the car has been messed with.

Re: 1969 Camaro
Mileage doesn't mean so much here. Not a bad car, but not real original either.
It's not an SS. HD is a L65, the 250 hp 350. I don't think the tag has been off, but someone hit it with a wire wheel. It had manual drums, so the power discs were added, and tilt, wood wheel, wood dash. Ordered Jan 10, delivered about 3 weeks later. That was fast for back then! Interesting they charged for headrests, but by then they were standard. |
