Charger Hellcat
 

Does anyone on the forum own one of these? Has anyone driven one?
ive read the reviews but would like to get some addtl feedback
thinking of swapping out of a new Z06 into this so i have a backseat for kids
that way i can drive it more frequently

practical or crazy?

Have you considered the Chevy SS Sports Sedan? It is a 4 door Camaro. 415 HP LS3, rear wheel drive, 4 doors, huge back seat, big trunk, 6 speed auto or manual trans. Not nearly the HP as a Hellcat but also can be bought for closer to $40k with end of year incentives for one that has been on the lot - and 415 HP is plenty. We bought one this time last year for my wife as a daily driver and she loves it. They can be hard to find as Holden makes them for Chevy and they only make about 2,200 per year.

X2 great car if you want more HP take it to lingenfelter!

A local guy has an automatic one......changed the gear ratio......added a upper pulley.....did the exhaust system...slicks....and a internet tune....went 9.92 @ 137........and he drove it home with the A/C on.......LOL.........Since then he has did something to where he ran a different type of gas and went 9.52 @ 142..........But he had to drain the fuel right away and put the 93 back in for driving .....Don't know exactly.......Pretty Impressive for a 4600lb car...........

I can tell you that I have a Scat Pack Challenger, and with only 485hp, that thing scares the bejeezus out of me!! Get the Hellkitty!!! I Agree!!! These cars are insanely fast and really don’t need any Mod’s to have fun. But then again I’m more of a road course guy then a drag race fan. If you have young drivers living at home you may want to keep the red key out of their hands till they have been trained on how to handle all those ponies and are responsible enough to drive the car.
