'68 Z project with docs and #s matching drivetrain

I think it will sell for $15k as absurd as that sounds. The distributor alone has to be a $1500ish piece.

The seller does a pretty thorough job of obscuring the VIN and body numbers. I'm guessing this will end up being a rebody but I suppose someone with more ambition than me could get the original body back into shape....

wow, I wouldn't know where to start with that one. The drivetrain is the only thing that would make me want to try to save it. That thing is a wreck!

you can only save the skeleton and the rest would be reproduction or NOS.

I think it can be saved .......... its a big job, but I do think worth it. For the right price.

Honestly, its easier to prove a car is real, especially a 1968 Z28, when they're in as found condition like this one. When the car is freshly restored with no "before pics", questions are always raised if it's real or not. 1968 Z28, 70 LS6, any 68-70 L78 car. 1969 COPO Camaro. Anything where true docs and as found photos and or owner history prove what it really is. Plus, like said above, some people just like a challenge or want to save a car.
