Help ID Part???
 

A friend of mine pulled this out of a first gen Camaro but was unsure of the sound system in the car at the time.

Any idea what year it is, what type of sound system would have been in the car and what this item did?

Looks like a Pontiac reverb, however on the capacitor, is that a Motorola stamp. If so it's a reverb made by Motorola sold at parts stores back in the day.
