Digital Camera...
OK...I need some input on buying a new digital camera...low tech, cheap and simple.
I have had 2 Canon units in the past..1st was a Power Shot SD750 Elph...worked ok...until it stopped working...lasted about 5yrs. Cost under $200 in 2008. Then I got a Canon Powershot Elph 135...worked ok until I fell in a lake with it [it's an interesting story, perhaps for another day]...cost around $99 in 2014. So, now I have no camera and need to get one soon... Ideally a waterproof unit might be a good idea, unless I stay away from the water I'm sure you techno giants can recommend something to fill the bill. Thanks....wilma |
Re: Digital Camera...
I've got this old Fujifilm digital camera that takes the absolute best pictures, especially of cars. It is only a 4 megapixel camera, but it does a great job. The battery door is failing and I have to hold it closed to take pictures. If I want quality pictures, this is my go-to camera. I've also got a newer Canon that does not hold a candle to the Fuji. For what this is worth. Neither is water proof, but I'm sure that is available today.

I'm still using an old Canon PowerShot A1000IS -- have been keeping it away from the water ... works great for stills and videos ... TAZ

Great info on the Nikon...what is the major difference between the old and new models?
Remember, I'm not very techy...so keep it in plain English. Thanks, wilma |
