Thanksgiving is a day when we pause to give thanks for the things we have – Memorial Day is a day when we pause to give thanks to the people who fought for the things we have! TAZ :flag::flag::flag:

We give respect, honor and thanks to ALL that have served in our armed forces, so that we can live in a great country like the USA!

We proudly display Lynn's grandfathers and Lynn's father's flags, too.

Every veteran deserves our thanks and respect...I try to keep that in mind every day of the year, not just on special holidays.

I'm remembering my late grandfather, a WWII Navy veteran assigned to the destroyer, USS Brinkley Bass. He was once personally praised by Gen. MacArthur for how well he maintained his area of the ship. RIP William Neil McDonald.
