Zl1 Crankshaft
Does anyone know what the #7114 crankshaft is worth? I believe it's zl1 or l88? Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you!

7115? They came in more than just the L88 and ZL1. The value depends on condition, if its been hacked or balanced, etc.

This one says 7114, and it was just cut 10/10. Its tuftrided but I think that's factory

It is a 7115 I was Mistaken

Honestly, it's worth what you can get for it? Maybe $500. I just sold one of those in the fall, nie shape ready to use for $500 and it took 8 MONTHS to sell.
Only reason I sold it as the motor I'm putting together will be around 900Hp and my thoughts were a new Eagle was only $100 more, and the history is know as well as age. Nothing special about a crank. |
First cut and the tuffriding goes away, so it's just a cross drilled 427 crank.

Ah I see. That's a shame I have a few of them but none are standard.
Well Thank you I appreciate the help |
Ya it's not a item like a crossram for a 302. The one I sold was cut 10/10 as well.
BUT I do have a nice one in my '72 402 motor. Long story, but the guy bought it NEW over the counter around 1983/5 or so when he thought he had a 427 in my '69 Nova. The '72 4 bolt standard bore block go all new GM crank, rods and pistons to bring it to 375Hp specs. |
