WTB 1970 firebird formula air cleaner
 

Just testing waters here to see whats avalable. i am looking for a nice correct factory style duel snorkel type air cleaner for a 70 firebird formula clone i am building. I can go both ways ram air or no ram air. Reproduction or oem. Not looking to spend a fortune here. But willing to pay up for a nice one.

The 70 is a 1 year only air cleaner - internal stamping is different than the 71 and the 72 & up units.

They make a decent repro ram air, air cleaner. I bought one for my Gramma's 1975 with a ram air hood.

Good information thanks. Glad to know it now. This isn't a concourse resto. So using a original 1 year would waste a good air cleaner. I'm open for a used reproduction or a used oem that looks decent to restore. I will look into the new reproduction I guess also. I Have a $250 dollar budget i want to keep for it.

I'm probably going this way if a used one don't pop up.
