Have you seen one with a X

Can't get the pictures it has a x before the numbers

That usually indicates a typo mistake of some sort @ the factory and was re-stamped over.

Pics are small

had a copo Chevelle that had a X on the 499 distributor. Some one had said every once in a while they would pull one off the line to check it and if it passed they would put a X on it

Real stamp and a real date. I had a bunch of those with the X. Most were the 8m and 9c distributors. The X was stamped when the part number and date were stamped. Not just the 499 got the X.

Any one looking for one let me know
