I used a reproduction for a 1970 Chevelle from Right Stuff detailing, and I was happy with it. Not sure if they carry the '69 master cylinder or not?

Edit: Looks like this is the '69 master from Right Stuff:

Can you get rebuilt ones at napa?. I got a spare water pump for my z and it even had a good date code

I cannot speak for Napa....but if you order from Ground Up, The Parts Place, Inline Tube, Right Stuff, OPGI....they all come from the same manufacturer.
They had a bad batch of them a six months ago.....I went through a half dozen of them. They do stand behind their products....as they kept sending me a new master after each one failed. I have an entire shelf of them....as they did not want them back.

I got a correct rebuilt 69 master cylinder from O'Reilly's. Only difference was the machined pad on the front was not milled where the BA would go for a chevelle.

I bought a '70 reproduction master from two different companies. One had the pad machined (Right stuff), one did not (Pirate Jack on ebay). There were also small differences in the casting.

I used to think that all reproduction master cylinders came from the same place (MBM), but now I am not so sure.

If you still have the original master, go to Napa and get a rebuild kit. Not hard to do yourself...

Unless it needs to be re-sleeved.Then I would send the whole thing out to be professionally re-sleeved/rebuilt.

This particular 69 has got a repop Mc on it already maybe I'll just rebuild it.
