Wrong again at the swap
I have buddy with a 1970 Z28 , I detailed under the hood for him and help him make the already nice car nicer, one seat belt in the rear is all shredded.
I was at a swap and bought a roll of green, ( his car is green on green) I was geeked, I didn't call him, I just bought it. It's a lighter green. I hate when that happens. Now I'm stuck with a $100 roll of green webbing. Lol. There's prob enough to do 2 cars. How many shades of greens are there? Lol |

Any idea maybe it isn't A GM Color.

Nice thought and gesture but I believe original belt material had only 3 pleats in them compared to this one being 4.

I think A bodys had 4 webs

I have boxes of seat belts and all the 70 dated ones are 3 rows. I did find one set of 4 row and they were dated 68.

I just went and looked, my78 has 4 row, like the green, Thanks, just trying to nail down make and year, I'll toss it on eBay , any info is appreciated.
At the Packard swap a guy had stuff from his dad that he borrowed Fisher body back in the 70's. he had only 3 colors, and he gave you the thread, the belts were 10' lengths, one color he had was camel, I bough enough for 2 cars, it's mine. There was a lighter green color on a Camaro, it may be that. Not sure. |
4 panel weave was used on 67 & 68 Camaros and maybe firebirds too. But that green looks like a 69 color. maybe full sized cars had that color in 68.

I remember seeing a lighter Green 70 Z, it looked like the interior was lighter, they didn't make 2 diff green interiors in 70 did they?
