Looks like a really fun driver, currently $1000 and change with no reserve. Factory air, too. Always fun to throw a few bids on a no reserve auction and see what happens.

Now that’s gotten me in trouble a time or two...

That's a nice looking Firechicken.... Make a great T/A clone too, but as a real 400 car probably not..

What BS when a seller can simply cancel all the bids in a no reserve auction... no doubt because it didn’t reach his expected bid levels.

Yes, even worse when you win and they refuse to sell you the item because it didnt go high enough. If they do that too many times they get suspended, but it's like three or more I think.

Actually vehicle sales and real estate sales are NON Binding on eBay for buyer and seller.

I looked at the car this morning. There was someone else there as well. Owner accepted an offer of 23K.

Not Allowed: •Backing out of the transaction because buyers didn't place a high enough bid and the seller didn't add a reserve price

"When you bid on an item in these categories, you're expressing a strong interest in buying the seller's item, but no formal purchase contract is created if you're the winning bidder."

Hell of a car for $23k.

I also thought it violated Ebay policies to 'reserve the right to sell locally'

I know Ebay has clamped down on my auctions when I've added that note.
